Project name: "Creation of information and analytical system for management of regional development as a quality subsystem in strategic planning of Vinnytsia region".
Donor: at the costs of national budget (Programme 2751270 "Support to the Regional Policy of Ukraine") received from the European Union as part of funding agreement of Sector Policy Support Programme – Support to the Regional Policy of Ukraine.
Implementer: Institution "Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency" in partnership with Kalynivka Town Council, Tulchyn Town Council and Teplyk Village Council.
Implementation period: 2021–2023.
Goal: improvement of quality for the management of regional development of Vinnytsia region by providing up-to-date analytical data that meet socio-political and legislative changes.
Tasks:
- to increase the level of analytical capacity of regional policy actors during the process of preparation of strategic documents and making high-quality managerial decisions;
- to provide regional policy actors with analytical and information materials to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of priorities fixed by the Strategy for Balanced Regional Development of Vinnytsia region until 2027.
Expected Project results:
- the organization management and logistic support of the Vinnytsia Regional Development Agency on data collection and analysis have been provided;
- at least 20 representatives of the local governments and executive authorities have increased their knowledge on the use of tools for data collection and analysis;
- a database of statistical and analytical information for the needs of regional policy actors has been formed;
- 5 researches of expert opinion in the area of Smart Specialization concept for Balanced Regional Development of Vinnytsia region for 2021-2027 have been conducted;
- professional support for 3 territorial communities of Vinnytsia region on the organization of research on topical issues of local development have been provided.
